You have no spark from the sounds of it. You need to swap the bad coil with one of the known working ones (basically swapping positions). If you now have no spark from the non firing coil in another location This will tell you that the coil is bad. If it tests good you might have a bad cd unit.

Start with the spark problem but if you said the plug looks like it just came out off a box (bone dry and shiny clean), it could be more than just a spark problem. Even without spark, the plug will display some kind of wetting or oil trace from the air-fuel mix. Unless of course you are just exaggerating that it looks so brand new. Anyways, spark tracing as mentioned by Tater is you initial best way to troubleshoot.

Start with.Start the motor. As it runs pull each plug and see if it makes a difference.
Then check the spark.Get in-line sparkies, they work best.
Redo the carb cleaning.Possible the float/needle is stuck.Float needs adjusting. While carbs are off check the reeds. Check the diaphram.

Caution. What Jerry meant to say is pull each spark plug cables not the PLUGS themselves. Just want to make that clear. Better yet as Jerry mentioned use a in-line spark tester! You can't go wrong and avoid damaging your coils.

BAD BAD ADVICE ...never pull off plug leads with the engine running or crank it with the leads off ..you stand a very very good chance of buggering the CD switch box ..always use a spark tester and you need a 1/4 in spark in air if it is to jump the plug under pressure .

I've seen the factory tech do just that. While I was there they showed us how to do it while the motor was running.fucawiAH you might not know as much as you think.

for coil and magneto its ok but not for CDI ....
If you go into any good Marine shop they always put the plugs onto a set of spark gaps if they want to crank the engine because they know what might happen

Re: gas ini carb but spark plug still looks new

The plug that came out clean like new. Was it wet with fuel at all or dry. As I read your first post you said that while you were on the water you had to cylinders running and then no power. Does this mean you couldn't. (Power) meaning what exactly? No rpms at wot or no spark to any of your cylinders. If I understand you correctly then you have a fuel problem most likely a stuck needle valve and you will need to pull carb to inspect and clean. Not a good idea to run your motor if you are not getting fuel mix to that cylinder. While carb is off take a led flash light shine it up in the intake opening and check the reeds. If you have been running without fuel mix to that one cylinder then chances are it is damaged and will need to be repaired but only if it was run dry. A compression test may be need to isolate a problem there. Now if it is spark related then get the spark testers and test each plug wire for good spark. If you are unfamiliar with how to remove a spark wire while motor is running then stick with spark testers. Best not to get zapped anyways.

For CDI's, I would have to agree with Fucawi as it's specifically mentioned in the manual to use spark gap tester if you have to check for sparks and not to leave the plug cable disconnected. Or at least let the plug cable arc over to ground or even grounded.

Wrong again Kemosabe.

"None so blind as those who will not see" Is englishman, John Heyward paraphrasing Jeremiah 5:21

Who is so deafe, or so blynde, as is hee, That wilfully will nother hear nor see. Heyward

I always wondered where some of my customers got the ridiculous info that they would hit me with when they came into my shop..........................

I think I've hit the "mother load"
