The leak is coming out of the top part of the carb where looks like some sort of overflow channel for gas. The channel starts from the center top of the carb and goes to the front corner.

Could this be cause by a stuck float needle value or is a carb cleaning in order?

The outboard is a 1999 90 hp Yamaha!

Thanks!

Yes it is likely caused by a stuck needle. Time to rebuild the carbs.

Hey, Thanks for all the above help. Yep, I plug in the gas and gave the bulb several squeezes and gas came out of the air hole. Tried light tapping on the carb to try to free the float needle but was no help.

I'll check back in later under a new thread if need help on removing/cleaning the carb!

Thanks again for all help!
