Gas/Oil Mixture for 7hp M. Ward/Clinton/Sea King

Would anyone happen to know what the fuel/oil mixture ratio is for this engine? (or do I need to provide more specifics? Looks to me that the engine is at least 35 years old... In one post I saw something muttered about originally it was 16:1 but should be lowered to 20:1 because oils are better these days.

More specifics would help, GS.<br /><br />Clinton-made usually means air cooled. If that is the case your mix should be 16:1 using chainsaw oil, NOT outboard oil.<br /><br />If not air cooled, we need model number info.<br /><br />Good luck.
