gas/oil ratio for a 1956 7 1/2 hp johnson

This is my first time here,I bought a 7 1/2hp johnson on a farm sale for $25.00 ,I looked up the model# AD 10 it comes up as a 1956, the serial# is 1481135, I would like to know if anybody would know the gas/oil ratio for this motor, also any ideas where I could find a manual for it.

The gas/oil ratio for that engine is 24/1 (1 quart oil to 6 gallons of gas).

I don't know his web site addy, but Ken Cook is in the old outboard manual business. Also, I suggest you try the Antique Outboard Motor Club site (www.aomci.org)...it's very interesting. And, I think you can link to Ken's site and many others you may find helpful as well.<br /><br />Walt
