Gas question 115 HP CF

Reading a lot of posts here, I've been aware that 87 Oct gas is recommended to most of the older Johnnyrudes. We only have 92, 95 and 98 Oct gas over here ?? I guess the 92 lead free would be best choise. Is there anything else to do to do my motor a favor. Back ignition advance a couple of degrees off ??

If everything is working as it should, you should not have to back off the timing at all. Your 92 is like our 87, as best I can determine. RPM as it relates to motor load is the most important thing.
