Gas Struts

All, I am going to add a couple of the gas struts to some of the compartment hinged lids. Anyone have a good link to the company to use. I'd also like info on properly measuring for them. I have 2 lids that will need to open 90 and some others all the up to 180, if they can go that far, but doubt it.

I added those to all my lids and it is a real trial and error ordeal.

Plan on drilling some uneeded holes to get it right, get the door where you wnat it open and tack the strut in with one screw then try to shut it and adjust from there, the only for sure thing is you want the bottom of the strut on the hige end of the door.

I have them on my rod locker, livewell and 2 storage doors.
