Gas gauge said have a tank, put in 10 gallons probably sitting around 20 total...think. capacity is 22. Temps around me have dipped as low as 28. Have I missed my opportunity to top it off, or should I just plan to drain in the spring since I may have jeopardized water in the tank. ?

From your description, I don't think you've jeopardized...water in the tank. If it'll be run next spring, probably OK as is, you could add some fuel stabilizer in tank, let it slosh around, run some of that fuel with stabilizer through when winterizing the engine, top off tank in spring, go boating

Stabilizer was added when it got winterized a few weeks prior...only run non-ethanol gas too. Just wasnt sure if that couple of inches of air was going to cause an issue.

Thanks for the feedback...now to try to make it through the cold winter until its boating season again!

You tank is nearly full. No matter how hard you try, there is always an air pocket above the fuel.

Mine get stored at any random level. Haven't ever had water in my fuel.
