Gas Tank Location

Hi all
I'm moving my portable gas tank(6gal) from the stern to the bow of a 14' boat to shift alittle more wt. up front. So I'm making a custom fit fuel line hose. My question is will I have a problem with the delivery of the gas from the tank to the outboard(yamaha F25hp)??

Should be O.K. Not from personal experience doing it but a buddy of mine has that set up and has no issues. (different motor though)
