I have a 1955 5.5hp johnson and a pressurized fuel tank for it. Recently I replaced the diaphram when gas leaked back out the primer shaft. At this point the diaphram was shot with holes worn through. Well gas still leaks out through the primer shaft when the engine runs and the tank pressurizes. I had to do a little retro work when the threaded end of the primer shaft snapped off. The discs are secured back on.<br />My question is this, where might I find an exploded view of the top of this type of gas tank showing all the components? Do any of the manuals that you guys have mentioned from time to time for the engines also contain this information. If so could you please state specifically what manual. I have been told that I either put something back together wrong or am missing something. Either way this exploded view might get me on the road to recovery with this sitituation. I can be fairly resourceful when it comes to fabrication and repairing. Not to be narrow minded, I would appreciate any other comments and ideas that might help me fix the problem.
