Gasket between Carbs and Sound Attenuator?

1980 V-6. Should a gasket be put between the carbs and the silencer box? (aka Sound Attenenuator) The OEM gasket is obsolete. Just use carb gaskets? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Rebuilt the carbs on a 150 last spring and I just used the old gasket that was on it when I took it apart.
