Gauge fitting bracket

I am fitting a new gauge .. nominally 5" diameter, panel hole will be 4 5/8" panel cut-out ... fixing studs 3 3/4" centers.
It needs to have a mounting ring/clamp/clip to fit it.

Picture of one for a 4" gauge attached. (black plastic fitting clip)

Anybody know the correct name for these, and where I can obtain one to suit this 5"
guage. Manufacturer of teh guage do not supply them and advise I have to source.

I think your talking about a Bezel trim ring

Hi Tafflad.

What you could do is make a mounting clamp similar to #4 as in the drawing below. Many gauges are mounted like this. A strip of aluminum would work.

that mounting bracket comes with the gauges from the factory. as GA stated, you can make it out of a small strip of aluminum or stainless.
