gauge oil wiring

Hi, I have a Yamaha motor 1988 2 stroke oil injection,

I bought it recently and now I have a wire that isn't plug at all at the motor...
i'ts a green wire ... not sure but I think it related to the gauge oil. the wire is cut :S

could ya post a full model number? yamaha made a LOT of oil injected motors over the years.

oops sorry forgot

Yamaha 1988 outboard 70 HP ETLG 2 strokes 3 cylinders

Maybe the green wire is for something else :S

The gauge you posted an image for is a tachometer.

I can't do a pic of it now...

but Green wire might be for the trim or for gauges

it's cut in the motor but not wired to motor it goes from the console to the motor but cut before wired to motor ...

I'll try to make a pic later in few days
