first off, i'm new to the forum and boats, been lurking here for months and learned how to redo the floor in my 1980 chrysler something (havn't figured that out yet)it was givin to me needing steering and a floor. well floor is done and steering is on its way.

now here's my question, the boat has no gauges in it i've done searching and so far i've decided to get water temp, tach, water pressure, fuel, trim/tilt. is there any other gauges that might be needed or prefered? it's got a 1980 chrysler skier 700 motor and what gauges could i hook up to that? i kinda like knowing whats going on at all times with motors.

thanks in advance

Re: gauge recomendations

What motor??Some will take some guages. Not all will have a sending unit for trim.
Speedo and a tach and a fuel guage should be on everyboat.J

A tach is a MUST,You won't find a trim sender or guage,An aftermarket temp and pressure can be mounted.Good luck,J

ok, looks like i'll try and find a tach, temp, and pressure gauge for that motor then.
