Hello, i am stuck with how to wire a yamaha lcd multi gauge. It is a speedo multi gauge. I cannot find any wiring info anywhere on the web. back of the gauge i have 2 clusters of wires. one cluster has 2 wires ( one black one blue) second cluster has 7 wires (white, white/blue, grey, dark green, yellow, red, and 2 blacks) The wiring harness back at the motor depict some of the colors but not all and the ones that are shown are multiple plugs.

If someone can identify what these wires go to i can wire in a my own harness.

motor is a 1988 yamaha 150

Thanks alot

Re: Gauge wiring help

Red is battery, yellow is ignition, blue is for backlight, black is ground, white to fuel sending unit.

Re: Gauge wiring help

It is very difficult to find a wiring schematic for the yam gauges (I've tried!). The easiest way to connect them is to buy the genuine gauge harness, they are not expensive and it is plug and play.

Thank you for a fast response. No it is not the tach version, it is the speedo version. ok you covered red, yellow, blue, black, and white. What does the grey and the white/blue go to?

Thank you as well for the fast response.

I do have a 2 fuse harness as well as another set of cables, but i am missing some of the colors in the 2 fuse harness. As well as the set is only like 5 feet, so just trying to ID the ones i have and them i know where they go.
