Hi,<br /> <br />as u prolly know by know i bought a fixer uper but i need help on hooking up gauges. all the wires have been frayed off and none work, i bought all new gauges and need help on where they hook up at.<br />1)tach.<br />2)speedometer<br />3)gas gauge<br />4)heat or water<br /><br />85 115 rude v-4

1-to the dist and a power source.<br />2-a sending unit (depends on what boat you have) on the transom and a power source.<br />3-sending unit on tank and a power source.<br />4-sending unit on the motors intake and a power source.<br /> Your gages should have came with directions. If you dont follow them to a "t" you are going to have problems. A 16 year old fixer upper boat........good luck. I have done a couple. They can be a pain some times.
