Just got this boat and everything is fine so far. Took it out on the lake before I bought it and it move pretty good. I got it home and trying to make sure everything is topped off, but one thing I notices is the lube monitor is empty. So I checked the line to the drive and found its not connected. And were the hose suppose to connect to the drive its capped off on the drive. Not sure why the hose isn't connected. Can I run it without? Or should I connect the hose back and fill the reservior or just leave it.

1983 Mercruiser 120 and the drive is a Mercruiser. I tried to get the serial numbers off the decal on the drive but I didn't see any.

Those engines and drives were never supplied with a oil monitor as standard, so if you're happy to, just keep running without the bottle hooked up.
