I have an Alpha Sterndrive, powered by a 350 Mag MPI 5.7 (300 hp) Mercruiser, serial number OM635489. In the sterndrive, (Serial number OL953687, the Manual says to use Quicksilver High Performance Gear Lube. I have not been able to find High Performance Gear Lube. I have found Quicksilver Premium Performance Gear Lube for lower units on Outboard Motors at Walmart and Sports Academy. Can Quicksliver Premium Performance Gear Lube be used? Is there that much difference? Some say lab tests say they are the same Oil. I don't want to do damage or void my warranty. <br /><br />Just one of GodsBeast's
