Yesterday I changed gear oil of my 70hp Merc (2-stroke). I noticed that there was a bit of metal on magnetic screw. Should I get worried?

A tiny bit is normal, ever notice the clunking noise if you don't firmly put it in gear? I'm sure a little metal comes off of there now & then.

Thanks!

It put in (Quicksilver) premium gear oil instead of highperformance (later used). Was it wrong move.

They're both fine choices. The Hi-Perf stuff is synthetic and the Premium stuff petroleum. The key is changing it to get the contaminants out before they accumulate too much whichever you use. Synthetic or Petroleum are about equal to the task with a slight edge to the synthetic.
