I am currently looking for a new prop for my 1983 Evinrude 75 HP motor. The model number is E75TRLCTE. When bringing up the prop finder information two gearcases come up, one with 13 tooth spline "pleasure" thru hub exhaust, and a standard 13 tooth spline thru hub exhaust. In looking at the prop selections the 13 tooth spline gearcase has 12"-12 1/2 " diamater props listed and the "pleasure" gearcase has mostly 13"- 13 3/4 diamater props listed. When I purchased my boat it had a 13 3/4 diamater prop, but the clearance with the bottom of the gearcase is about 1/4 of an inch if that. I am also experiencing some ventilation problems. Being the former owner of the boat did not know too much this could be the wrong prop for this gearcase. My question is what gearcase do I have? :^ I also have an active thread on my ventilation problem in the prop questions forum.

Your motor takes the standard 13 1/4" (or so) diameter prop. The other prop is for the 15" motor that has the smaller "Sprint" gearcase.

Would that mean I have the "pleasure" gearcase?
