Gel coat cost ?

I've got a 1998 Stingray CX220. I don't like the teal/green gel coat stripe. Any idea/ballpark the price to have it changed to black? It's about a foot tall and runs the entire boat length, both sides.

paint=$50
gelcoat=$1500

give or take..............

You could also have a vinyl stripe put over it

The stripes on a Stingray are actually gelcoat, and not vinyl?

If it's not a vinyl stripe, paint it using a good topside paint. Much cheaper and will
last just as well- just keep either one waxed.
