Gel coat cracks

I have a new boat with very fine cracks where the swim platform curves into the transom.The dealer will fix them but they are barely visable and I'm afraid I'll have a bigger mess cosmetically.Are there any long term consequences to not having them fixed? They are well above the water line.

They are stress cracks which are fairly common.If they fix them,they will return and be more visable because of the repair.I would not touch them.Charlie
