Gel seal application layout question/picture

I've seen photos and videos showing the usual pattern for Gel seal application.

However, I'm curious on exactly the proper placement for the typical 1990 V4 crossflow motor.

Here is the photo of what I know and the possible placement drawn out in red lines via MS paint.

Getting questions answered while I wait on delivery of parts for re-assembly. I'm also doing the removal/cleanup of the mating surfaces and the block overall while I wait.

At the top and bottom, do you run the Gel seal all the way to the edge? I believe so since there's no lubrication channels that require that 1/4 spacing.

What about the spots with large surface area, like the bottom left?

If possible, post a revised/modified picture of the corrections in a different color. Annotations of details in the reply of why such a change was made would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Here is how I do them and run a small bead and finger thin it in bearing areas. This is now done to all the DFI engine as makes them a tad less noisy and seem to run better. This was show to me by tech rep and a rebuilder...

Well tried to post pic but keep getting error

It appears the photo upload is now fixed, would you be able to upload that modified photo and any notes?

Any possible follow-up on recommendations for application of gel seal based on the photo I have here?

I'm hoping within a week or so to be doing this so I want to get it right and not have to disassemble this bloody thing again all over again due to a crankcase cover seal leak.
