I noticed a supericial 10" scratch on my hull. Can this be compounded out? If so, what product should I use?
Thanks

Re: gelcoat scratch

You could try 3M marine rubbing compound. I used it to shine up my gelcoat and it came out great! Picture is after applying Meguiars Flagship wax.

If it is supericial, then any good buffing / cutting compound will do the job. You can also come in with 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper and take it out with that and then use the polishing compound to bring it back to a nice gloss. Then wax her up.
