Gemini Bass Boat?

I recently purchased an 87 Lil "Gem" Gemini bass boat, but cannot find any information on them. Does anyone know anything about these boats? Are there any online resources that can help me? Just asking. Thanks for any help.

Gemini boats were built in the late 1980s to the early 1990s. They were partially owned by small mouth legend Billy Westmoreland. The larger boats, >17 feet, had a pattern similar to a Laser.
In my opinion, these are a very good boat for the money. Gemini's demise was the package deal on bass boats. They went out of business about the time Mercury and OMC started acquiring boats companies. My father-in-law was a dealer for Gemini until they went under. He sold quite a few of their units.

I currently own a 179 SC gemini. The boat was bought new in 1992. I sold it in 2000 and bought it back a few months ago.
The 179 SC will run in the mid to high 70's fully loaded with a FastStrike 150. This speed has been verified by radar courtesy of the AL state patrol. To me this boat rides better than the Ranger 481 I owned from 2000 to 2005. Hope the info helps.

I purchased one of the last three Gemini bass boats when they were going out of business. It's a 20' 220. I still own the boat and it has been solid all these years. It provides a fantastic ride, turns like a dream at any speed. I am currently doing a little work on it and am looking to replace my live well pumps. If you know where I can find a couple it would be great. Everything still works but I need to get it back to tip top shape. I currently have an Evinrude 175 that rockets me down the water.

I can say it was sad to see them go out of business. I lived in Somerset for 20 years and know the folks who owned the business.
