Gen II Noise Turning...Not Gimbal Brng

Most times when turning hearing growling noise means bad gimbal bearing. I have had the drive pulled twice by two different reputable mech. Both state that the alignment is on and the gimbal is fine and also the u-joints checked out okay. Yet I still get a growling noise when turning. Any suggestions what to look at or check next.

Replace the ujoints. They may feel ok, but they can still have grooves that in them you can't feel.

If this growl is only when you have it turned up against the lock, a bit of noise is normal.

Don S - I had forgotten to include that the u-joints did check out okay in the original post. Would bad u-joints also cause vibration at lower speeds? I know its not the prop....just got that reconditoned a month ago.
