George... Abe always seemed a bit frail to me... Although, think Abe might have the height/reach advantage... hummmmm?

Yea, Abe was 6'4" and GW is only 5'11" so Abe would have the height and reach advantage for sure.

Dunno.....George looked a bit huskier than Abe...would probably put a good hurt on Abe if he got hold of'm. Now Abe, tall and lanky, could stay awary from George....ya' know....duck and jab.....be interestin'.....

I keep wantin' ta' ask....crab bait....did ya' set up last night thinkin' on the question or what??

i'd have to go with ABE.. he's warey an pretty darn scrappy fellow.. an wouldn't care about his face much..i find that an admorable trait in a man.. :)

he's brought up backwoods an sure split his share of firewood..

i'd have to lay odds on ABE.. he'd better watch out tho.. not to get 'splinters' in his knuckles ,that's all..

I'd say Abe , he is alot younger...no, on second thought, I think if two dead men fight then they both lose.

GW had the advantage, no teeth in his head. Actually, wooden false teeth. They must have smelled pretty bad. So when Abe was wincing from GW's chronic halotosis, GW could drop the hammer on Abe's pencil-necked held up head.

Re: george vs abe

have to remember something, everything was manual back then, and i dont think homespun abe got into everyone doing things for him, long walks, horse riding, power nothing, and living with heat in the summer and spotty warmth in the winter, I dont think anyone from this age is as tough as someone from that age, for example John L Sullivan was only 5-10, but he was an anvil tough, barefisted prizefighter that fought dozens upon dozens of rounds, no pads, no gloves, just muscle and guts.

Abe would knock dubya on his assets in a new york second

and despite the job hes doin now, I dont think dubya would have handled the Civil War very well
