Short answer: Use exterior grade plywood, fiberglass cloth and mat, and polyester resin.

Longer answer: Do a search here for "deck replacement" or "soft spot in deck" and you'll find people who have done exactly that, probably on that same boat.

You'll also find out that boats tend to rot from the bottom up, so a soft deck usually means a soft transom, soft stringers, and wet foam. Not for certain, but you should check. Often people getting into a small fix find much more that's wrong and should be repaired.

I agree with erik and bond-o. EVRYTHING you need to know about common deck/stringer/transom replacement is covered here and better yet it has all been documented with pictures and endless detail in some posts. I would encourage you to read drewpsters thread 'my tri-hull transom replacement with pics': http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=287390&highlight=drewpster and also read archbuilder's thread '16 nescher ski boat complete restore': http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=364284
These are only two of the many posts on here that will provide you with all the info you need to know.
Good luck!
