Getting it ready to take out on water

Bought a 1990 hydrasports with a johnson gt 1500 on it. I hooked up muffs and started it up. Water is coming outta pisser good but i noticed water coming out of the front of the flange on lower unit. I am unfamiliar with johnson motors as i had force motors on my other boats. I was wondering if this was normal ? The water coming outta pisser is nice and kool the water coming out of flange is warmer

Sorry i dont no what happened but i cleaned motor up and fueled it up put muffs on and water coming outta pisser good but i noticed water coming outta of flange by lower unit .and was wondering if its normal? posted a link on you tube johnson gt150 .
I had force motors on my other boats and never noticed this. water was nice and kool coming outta pisser but it was much warmer coming out of flange part by lower unit.

I had an old v4 evinrude outboard I recently sold and it had water coming out all the places I saw in your video. Check the gear oil, if its clean get her out on the water!
