every year i drain the petcocks and for some reason the manifold did not let out any water this year:confused:. why would that be:confused:? I didnt use it much this year but i didnt have any over heating issues
I tried taking a hanger and probing it around in there but still didnt get anything?
There should be water in there seeing i had it on the ears and running for a good 20 min right?

What exactly do you have, an OMC Cobra drive and a Volvo Penta engine, or what? I know the 4 cyl Volvos used to have closed cooling but are you sure you removed the drain plug on the manifold, or maybe just a plug that does not go into a water passage. I'm guessing that by the year (87) you have an OMC Cobra 4 cyl engine raw water cooled....

dig in a small screwdriver or something solid in the petcock opening of the manifold. BET there is water in but maybe this year you have clogged the petcock relativly solid.
