I have an 06 fiberglass 27' boat. Previous owner did not do much to keep the finish up ( or much else either). So the sides were real chaulky when I got it, lightly wet sanded and buffed and polished with 3m heavy oxidized one step wax and it really worked. The large areas are easy to knock out but when you get up to the helm...the non skid on the bow. I'd really like to get the helm area looking shinny again- it's not oxidized or chaulky but just looks flat. I try the 3m by hand and just does not cut it...suggestions?

take a scrub brush and a pressure washer and clean the non-skid

then take a spray wax (I use mequiars) and hose down the non-skid, seriously hose it down and let that wax sit

about an hour in the sun, com back with your scrub brush and work that wax into the surface.
