So how do we adjust the timing if we don’t have a distributor engine? Mine is a 1986 Force 125hp I should be at top dead center but seeing as I don’t have the distributor and belt I’m not sure how to make sure my timing is correct.

I have answered you in your other thread about sync the carbs.
You need a timing light and set the throttle at WOT.
Crank the engine with the starter and adjust timing to 28 dgr.
It will end up with 30 dgr while running.
