picked up this Glasspar Avalon for 100 bucks. came with original trailer and 40hp johnson. this is my second full restore, iv done some partial restores as well. i plan to paint with interlux, new flooring, and all new upholstery. i do not plan to make completely original, id like my own twist on it. i was lucky and there wasnt a sliver of rotted wood in the boat. i picked up a 1975 johnson 70hp for it so im hoping that will push it pretty good. any advice or info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Re: Glasspar Avalon

here are a few pictures of the boat after some paint on the hull, bottom, and topside. came out nice but i get so much specs of dust in the paint on the topside. any advice? iv seen so many pictures and videos of flawless looking interlux on hulls. i used the roll and tip method. you can also see the wood deck cut outs iv made and will stain then varnish them rather than the original fabric type stuff that was there before. should make it look nice and custom.
