Glastron 17' floor replacement, stringer question

I'm replacing the back half of the floor with new plywood. The stringers are soft but aren't crumbling. The floor was terrible I removed it by hand in pieces. The bottom of the plywood was in better shape than the top so I think the water damage is from swimmers and not from the transom. I knocked on the transom and it sounds solid.

My question is, the boat will last many years in just lake use right? The lake gets choppy but nothing crazy I don't hit wake hard either. I reall don't have time or money to redo the whole stringers as I leave in 1-1/2 month for army

Also will I be ok with coating the top and seams with resin? The bottom doesn't see to get wet as the water is coming from swimmers getting in boat.

Uhhhmmm 1 1/2 months or 1 1/2 minutes Safety is Safety. Bounce on the leg of the outboard and see if the transom flexes at all. Even just a little bit. If it does then... It's not a good sign. Stringers are an Integral part of the boats structural integrity. Wet rotting stringers will compromise this structural integrity. Covering them over with fresh wood does nothing to help this situation. If the transom does not flex when bouncing on the leg of the motor that makes a lot of difference but soft stringers still are not good. If you want to take the risk it's your choice. I'd advise against it.

I knocked on transom on the inside near bottom and sounds strong. Ill bounce on the leg once I reinstall it (bellows job)
