Hi everyone I have a 1979 cvx16 with a mercruiser 130 in it can anyone give me an idea what prop size would give me the best performance all around thanks

Someone nay have the same combination but without your present info can't really make a suggestion.
If you have your present prop size and your Max rpm and speed we can make some suggestions.Wouldn't hurt to have your typical load and activity.
Selecting a prop is like try to pick a single gear in a car to do everything.
There are comprimises.Prop size is on the prop -- X -- Diameter X pitch.
