A friend has a 1980 Glastron Scimitar with 149 hrs on her, I might buy it.<br /><br />What do you guys think of this boat and does any body have any other info on these boats all I could find was this.<br /> http://www.classicglastron.com/82gl-carl-scimitar-index.htm

I think it's cool. It's config is kinda limiting so I guess it depends on what you want/need. With only 149 hours, it must be in great shape.

I'd buy it. Its extremely useless, but if updated it is a very distinctive boat that stands out in todays bland styling. I wonder how hard it would be to fab some downriggers that stow away Bond style, like those missile launchers in his cars...
