There is always some EXPERT somewhere saying life as we know it is going to change. The news gathers (if you want to call them that) are having a hard time finding something real to talk about are they?

Just to be on the safe side about this.

I called my Mom and she said there's about 75 pounds of country cut bacon in the freezer. :)

Thing are way worse than I thought. Going to buy a few hogs and a liquor store this weekend and put in for all of my vacation. Do they make big water trailers for boats? :D

Shortage smortage......There will always be a supply of bacon if you can afford it.................. Smuggled Black market or bootleg Bacon won't be cheap though :eek:

I can assure you there is no current shortage of pork in my state. You can smell the hog farms for miles driving around rural areas. We even have a good population of feral hogs, some purposly released to hunt them, and other herds that were established years ago after being released from farms by hurricane floods and they are spreading their range around farmland and river basins. SUUUUUUWEEEEE! Here pigpigpigpig :D

pleanty of wild pigs down south they taste funny but its still bacon:).....also something called sweet meat if you get real hungry :eek:

You mean REAL hungry ?? :D I hear the younger wild ones are quite tasty, and all the ones killed around croplands, corn, soybeans, peanuts etc. taste better than the swamp pigs around here.

I've heard a lot of good things about the wild pigs out of Florida and Alabama. Kinda' always wanted to try some.
