Is there a glue that gass will not eat up or dissolve? Need to reattach a gas pick up tube inside tank. The tube keeps popping out of the hole that it snaps into.<br /><br />thanks for the help :eek:

Fuel tank repair kits at auto parts store should work or JB Weld should do the trick.I used JB Weld to repair a leaking fuel tank in an old truck that I had and it is still holding to this day for my son in law.

yeah i agree with the jb weld, it's some good stuff. i fixed a leak on an old aluminum jon boat bout 10 years ago and it still is holding, and its on the outside of the boat in the water, its good really.

What kind of tank? The fix will be different if a fiberglass tank. I would uses Marine Tex as it will work with Glass, alumnium or steel.
