Gluvit Then Paint Question

I just leaked tested my 16' boat that I applied Gluvit to help seal the hull (thanks to you guys on this forum).
No leaks so far. Yea...

I understand on any exposed to sunlight areas I need to put a coat or two of paint on the Gluvit due to no UV protection in it.

I only have an area about 12" square (my bildge area) that is exposed.
All the rest of the area is under the decking.

I called the manufacture and they say to put an "epoxy friendly paint" on it. Not an "epoxy paint".

Having trouble finding an "Epoxy Friendly" paint.

What do you guys recommend??

This boat is used most every weekend for a day but then gets covered when not in use.
I still would like to coat area if nothing else to clean things up.

Re: Gluvit Then Paint Question

Any marine paint is pretty much epoxy friendly...... even rustoleum spray paint is too. They just do not want you to use a 2 part epoxy paint directly on it. With the limited sun you are talking about and maybe not wanting to spot paint....just leave it alone.
