tylerin- absolutely right about that. oops. How could I forget? Speaking of... the registration I received last month due this month is with the increase. Will I get a new one or do I adjust is myself?

You can contact them thru the web somewhere and they'll give you a reduction formula, or just call. You can go into the DMV and they will adjust it for you right there

Wouldn't it be safe to say that lots of the illegal immigrants were driving without licenses and insurance already? Unless the illegal immigrants are being deported, won't the law just make it so that you have more unlicensed/uninsured drivers on the road?<br /><br />Just wonderin'...

Good question Toad, its a catch-22, but the key word here is illegal. Send em home.

Unlicensed/uninsured drivers will continue to be a problem. The key issue is these illegals not being a citizen and being able to get a California driver's license without being a citizen. If you want the benefits of being a citizen than become one. If not, you don't get any benefits. <br /> Sorry, a sore subject with me.
