That has to be photoshopped. Nothing to hang something that heavy in the front end of my cart.

Maybe, but not by me. :)
I just googled "golf cart with plow picture" and had a pile to choose from.

Re: Golf cart charger can't recharge batteries

Talked with the help folks at Club Car (good folks) and explained I charged the batts. before storing but did NOT leave the charger connected. Bad move... Apparently the on board electronics (motor controller and dash read outs) pull a low amount of power all the time and I've really stepped in it by not keeping the charger on it. They suggest, charging each batt. on a 12 volt charger at it's lowest amp setting for 4 hours and then go to full charging and see if they come up to voltage properly using a hydrometer on each cell. (may have bad cell even if it charges).

Maybe the batts, can be saved, maybe not. I sure hope so because these are some big honking batts. and the cheapest I've seen them is $270 each and there are four of them.. OUCH!!!

EDIT: As a side note, these folks are so kind they sent me a PDF of the owners manual. Yup, in BIG BOLD letters it says to leave the charger on it during the winter and it will cycle every so often for a maintenance charge. RTF dummy...

Bubba, hope this works out for you.

I have also found the folks at Club Car to be extremely helpful.

I highly recommend their products.

When we bought our Ez-go cart we had to get all new batts. Found a place that sells "seconds" which turned out to be new batts but with either scratches or blemish of some sort. Much cheaper than buying unblemished but of the same quality and life span.

If the batteries are so low that they will not induce the charger to turn on, you can still charge them.

Disconnect all the batteries.

One at a time use a pair of jumper cables jump one battery in parallel with a good battery, like out of your truck. Now connect a battery charger to this pair, the good battery will induce the charger to turn on, charging both batteries. once the cart battery has charger up to 10.5 or more you can remove the jumper cables and continue charging the cart battery, or move on to the next cart battery and repeat the process.

Once all cart batteries are charged up to 10.5 volts or more, reconnect all the batteries correctly and plug in the cart charger.

It may be preferable to charge each battery separately to a higher voltage, i.e., the minimum voltage listed in the manual where you were supposed to recharge batteries.
