Gonna fish with Doug Johnson!

Made reservations for my annual musky trip to LOTW this AM. 9/25 to 10/2.<br /><br />Actually got a day to fish with the legendary guide, Doug Johnson. Really expect to learn a thing or three about musky fishing from this guy.

Won't wish ya luck Jb cause that 50 plus is in the bag for you...Must be planning on doing some Musky snow fishn..That time of year can get a little chill dog....Do ya want to borrow my duck??

Fishing cold wont be anything new to me, GF. I lived in MN for 5 years, remember? Got real good at knocking ice out of the guides so I could make another cast.<br /><br />My worry is that he will want me to pitch 3 to 5oz. lures, which my back can do for about an hour before I am completely done in. I think I will stick with my smaller (1oz. and less) lures most of the time, maybe troll that Bagley DB8 and the DB5s.<br /><br />If you're gonna cast for muskys for a week you gotta take it easy or you wont make it to day 5.

Yer right as rain JB but if you land a 50 incher won't those be pains of joy in the old back.<br />Good luck to yea and hope you enjoy it. Which I know you will.

JB, Ever heard of these <br /> http://www.radtkespikeminnow.com/ The single jointed are not very heavy and if I could only bring two lures on a boat it would be the single jointed Rainbow color and a spare.
