If you haven't seen this, here's a good set of online articles from Epoxyworks magazine that cover repair and restoration topics. They're pretty positive on West System epoxy (for some good reasons) but they do present some backing evidence and tests on strength and moisture resistance.

Lots of good techniques documented.
