Would everyone agree, on a 10 year old Force motor, (120 hp - that has been correctly maintained, but by someone else) that the BEST preventive maintenance, to be done every 2 to 3 years is:

1) A water pump impeller change;

and ......

2) Changing the lower end lube/grease.

Any other smart ideas ???

Motor runs superbly and has always been used in fresh water.

All suggestions/thoughts are greatly appreciated, in advance.

Welcome Mikey.

While a water pump can be done every few years, the lower unit lube should be done every year, in fall, when you winterize the motor.

Clean her out with a Seafoam Deep Creep decarb treatment annually.
Rebuild the fuel pump every few years.
