Ok. I have a 96' Force 90hp. Starts and idles great. When accelerating in FWD, she boggs @ 2100-2200 RPM. I can apply choke to get it to recover from the bog and accelerate thru to WOT. When accelerating in reverse, she pushes through without a glitch. WEIRD. Also, if I hammer down from forward idle to WOT, she can make it through the bog spot with a slight hiccup, but I do not have to hit the choke to keep it from dieing out. Any help??? Any Idea??? Carbs are all cleaned and linkages correct. New plugs and fuel pump diaphram.

Do a compression &spark test and post what you get.
Check and replace primmer bulb if needed. It should fill up with fuel and hold the fuel after primming.
Check the fuel vent for any plugging.
Possible the fuel lines are collapsing due to age and negative effects of ethanol.
Make sure any quick connects are not plugging and sucking air.
Replace in line fuel filter if any.
don't forget to post what you find if anything, it will help us to help you and it may help
someone else as well.

The prop’s designed makes it much more efficient in forward gear than in reverse. If your motor is developing less power than usual for some reason it’s easier for it to drive the prop in reverse.

Exhaust gasses also aerate the prop in reverse causing extra slippage.

Primer bulb is good and solid. Entire fuel system lines are good. Built in tank is venting fine (i blew it out). Compression is good all 3 cyl @ 125psi.......im baffled!
