That's cool. I read that he didn't actually invent the zipper, just improved it.

I also read he patented it so wonder what the true story is.

... And although he had his business in Ontario, he lived in Meadville, PA and died and was buried there. Seems like he worked for, and with, a lot of different companies. I am sure there was a "behind the scenes story" there somewhere.

I had open heart surgery 6 weeks ago today so I can't stand going to the Google home page. Looks like my chest. :facepalm:
Guess I'll use Yahoo to search today.

My favorite doodle was the les paul tribute.

My delight when I clicked the zipper was priceless, then it got dirty...

erwinner, hope you're healing well. At least it's a permanently closed zipper, cus if you left that fly down really bad things could happen!
