GPH for a Johnson 2000 175 ?

I looking for a fuel/ water filter and wanted to know what GPH I need for a 175 hp . I was looking at some of the spin on filters and they were either The 1/4 " model is 50 gph and the 3/8 " is 85 gph . which should I buy ? Thanks JJB

Your v-6 calls for 3/8 fuel fitting's.
