GPS Speedometer, Flo-Scan, and depth gauge

I went with the GPS speedo (Thanks for the advice) along with the Flo-Scan and a depth gauge that reads water and air temp. Here ia a picture.

Do you have to use specific sending units with this? Or will it work with most senders? How does it get a GPS sourse?

The Flo-scan came with the sending unit. The depth gauge also came with it's own transom mounted transducer. The GPS speedo has a receiver sitting on the bow uyp against the window.
