Repairing nicks and scratches on the hull of my 1984 grady 20.4 fisherman, my question - can you wet sand?
I am using 3 m fiberglass filler, i did try it and it smooths out nicely with no dust, just wondering if this will affect the bond in any why. Thanks.

I dont understand the question..

You can fill scratches or sand and buff depending on the depth of the repair.

To fill Minor scratches I would recommend gelpaste ( matched to your hull )

Its basically gel and cabosil..sand and buff ( it will not be perminant unless you spray over the repair )

If your prep and clean is good then your 3m filler should stick fine ( 3m uses a vinylester resin base which is a good thing unlike Bondo or the like ).

YD.
