Awesome lake trip planned for next summer with my pontoon boat and single axle Shorlander trailer BUT there is 70 miles of good road with coarse rock gravel.

Looking for protection beyond the rock tamer set up I have on my back truck back bumper and mudflaps.

Re: Gravel Road Protection

I have a TowTector and it works very well at keeping rocks from hitting the trailer or the boat. When the boat is hooked to the truck, the TowTector is one inch off the ground.

Re: Gravel Road Protection

We live on a gravel road 5 miles from the boat ramp at our local lake. I got the spray on bed liner last year and sprayed the spots on the trailer where the paint was chipped off looks like its working well just put the boats away for the winter and the trailers look great. Just do speed I have broke every light at one point on my boat trailer from flying rocks.
