Hey,

I am new to trailer maintenance and my one of my bearing caps fell off and new I am hearing some serious squeeling. Where are the grease fittings? are they behind the tire near the shaft? Anybody have any pictures?

There are no grease fittings for bearings. If you have noise like you desacribe, you need to pull the hub and replace the bearings and races and replace the cap.

There are caps like bearing buddys that have grease fittings and some axles that have grease fittings but bearings need to be handpacked with grease so they don't have grease fittings themselves.

Okay there is no grease fitting. The cap that came off is what holds the grease in. If you are hearing a noise chances are you have smoked your bearings. They have a dust cap called "Bearing Buddie" it has a frease fittine in the center and all you do is replace the original dust cap with those and just grease the bearing thru the fitting until it comes forward and stops.

what kind of trailer? if you had or have just the plain little dust cap , there is no grease fitting.
you have to take the bearings out and pack them by hand after a GOOD cleaning and inspection , then replace the inner seal with a new seal.
